Raven Jackson, CEO

In 2006 at the age of 19, I started my own business doing residential and construction cleaning. As a multiyear Angie's list award winner, I was in and out of people's homes, always around their kids and animals and it was one of the favorite parts of my job. When cleaning I would always play with the animals, take them for walks and was often asked to pet sit. In 2014, at the age of 27 I took full guardianship of my grandmother and cared for her for 5 years. I had two separate employee events that led to my fatigue of the business in addition to seeing how my grandmother was cared for and spoken to that I chose to make a career change into nursing. I started nursing school in 2015 while continuing to run my business until I was accepted into the LPN program full-time. Once I was accepted into the LPN program, I made the decision to let the business go and started working as a nurse’s aide and worked my way up the ladder from LPN to RN. Between being an entrepreneur and a nurse, I have been in customer service since I was 13 years old. I value hard work, integrity, and communication to meet my clients’ needs. I am very detail oriented, and an advocate for animals. My emphasis is on ensuring they get the absolute best care possible that ends in a good outcome or end of life experience for them and their families.

Values… Passion… Love, and Empathy…

As an empath my love for animals has continued to grow over the years so much that I became a nontraditional pet parent in 2019 after I lost my grandma obtaining both my domestic skunk and my first potbelly pig. I grew up with a mom who raised and bred dogs and I grew up having reptiles and birds. I have rescued multiple wildlife over the years, volunteered for Skunk Haven Rescue and continue to be an advocate and member of multiple animal groups and organizations. I am always learning and asking questions. I am well known for my critters and the love I have for all things critters, so much so that my stepson gave me the nickname Ray-Ray Doolittle. I understand animals and they have a way of protecting me from anything dark or sad. No matter what, my heartstrings keep pulling me towards the animal world because it is my happy place! As a nontraditional pet parent, I understand how hard it is to love them, want/need to travel and must choose because you don't have anyone trustworthy, educated, or reliable to care for them. My goal is for you to live in both worlds and still have both, because with someone like me they will get the love and attention they need, and you don't have to choose.
